Janel Paulk, DBA

Janel Paulk is Senior Vice President and Chief Health Informatics Officer at the Adloris Foundation, where she leads the Health Informatics focus area. A healthcare IT executive with nearly two decades in EHR implementation, health information exchange, and product development, she has led enterprise projects at HCA, Allscripts, GE Healthcare, and athenahealth, including a $4.7 million hospital patient accounting implementation for a large specialty hospital in New York City. As Director of IT at Sevita, she set the product roadmap for a national home and community-based care provider and led the multi-state rollout of a SaaS electronic visit verification app. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computing at East Tennessee State University, where her research focuses on the implementation science of information systems, and the co-founder and COO of StellaVersed Consulting. She holds a DBA from Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business, an MBA in Health Services Management from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, and a BA in Public Policy and Economics from Duke.
