Dr. Romullo Ataides

Romullo Ataides is the Associate Director of Research Operations at the Adloris Foundation. After completing the Foundation's Research Fellowship, he supports clinical research programs across study design, participant recruitment, informed consent, data collection, and regulatory compliance. His research background spans gastroenterology and hepatology, including work on pancreatic cancer detection and gastrointestinal endoscopy, as well as cardiovascular prevention, emergency medicine, and health systems in LMIC contexts. A physician and researcher from Brazil, he has published in Think Global Health and peer-reviewed journals and has contributed to data analysis and manuscript development for ongoing studies. He has provided primary care to over 4,000 individuals in underserved communities through Brazil's federal health programs. He is completing an MPH at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and holds an MD from the Federal University of Maranhão.
