Sigfried Gold is the Senior Director of Health Informatics at the Adloris Foundation. He advances the Foundation's health informatics research agenda, builds the evidence base for the technology commons, and shapes the technical narrative for federal funding applications. He believes clinical data only matters if humans can actually make sense of it, and has spent two decades building visual analytics tools that make complex health data legible. He serves as Senior Research Informatics Applications Architect at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and is a collaborator with OHDSI. He founded OJC Technologies/Pixo and served as Principal Investigator on research with the University of Maryland's Human-Computer Interaction Lab. He holds a PhD in Clinical Research Informatics from the University of Maryland, an MA in Biomedical Informatics from Columbia, and an MFA in Creative Writing from Sarah Lawrence College.
